Privacy policy

Last updated: 3 November 2026

This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit this website, buy a YoyliOS license and use YoyliOS. YoyliOS is sold to parents and other adults. This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

1. Who is responsible

The controller is YoyliOS, email [email protected] (“we”, “us”).

2. This website

3. Buying a license

Purchases are not active yet. When they open, orders will be processed by our payment provider and reseller (merchant of record), Lemon Squeezy, which collects your name, email address, billing country, payment details and tax information under its own privacy policy. We receive from it the order details needed to deliver your license key, provide support and handle refunds (legal basis: performance of a contract, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), and keep order records as long as tax and accounting law requires.

4. Using YoyliOS

5. Children (COPPA and similar laws)

We do not collect, use or disclose personal information from children through this website or through YoyliOS. All children’s information created in YoyliOS stays on your computer, under your control, and you can delete it at any time from the Parents area or by deleting the child’s profile. If you believe we have received information about a child, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.

6. Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for targeted advertising or profiling. We share data only with the service providers named above (Cloudflare, Lemon Squeezy) and where the law requires it. YoyliOS itself collects no personal data. Purchase data is handled by Lemon Squeezy under its own privacy policy. Our providers may process data in the United States; such transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

7. Your rights

EU, EEA and UK: you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data and to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority. United States (including California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Texas and other states with privacy laws): you have the right to know what personal information we hold, to access, correct and delete it, and to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising (we do none of these). We will not discriminate against you for using your rights. To use any right, email [email protected]. We may need to confirm your identity, and we will reply within the time the law requires (generally one month in the EU/UK and 45 days in the US). If we refuse a request, you may appeal by replying to our answer.

8. Security and retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above and protect it with reasonable technical and organizational measures.

9. Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
